New Commission

Museums Sheffield 2018

I received a commission from Museums Sheffield for Tulipiere 16, the first large scale piece of work that incorporates the newly developed Mikana metal material (see research page) in combination with 925 silver. The piece was hallmarked at Sheffield Assay Office. Mikana continues Sheffield’s long tradition of combining technology and industry with contemporary design and making.

Museums Sheffield is custodian of a collection of metalwork, awarded Designated Status in 1999 in recognition of its outstanding national and historical significance.

The work was presented to Museums Sheffield by the Contemporary Art Society, London.
